Each year, thousands of bikers roll into D.C. for the Rolling Thunder Ride for Freedom to honor and remember “our brothers and sisters who gave their lives for the freedom we enjoy every day and for the full accounting of all POWs-MIAs and veterans’ rights.” Organizers expect roughly 800,000 motorcycles this Memorial Day weekend.

Ahead of the main event this Sunday, the Washington National Cathedral hosted a “blessing of the bikes.”
