two for two for me uh we are a brand new episode brand new series brand new everything uh my man who can’t show up on Mondays anymore has caught me into doing a Tuesday show uh new flip side Tuesday with myself and uh Mr Mr Merson I caught her over there what’s going on buddy what’s happening man not much uh let’s uh let’s do the intro and then we’ll talk about some stuff on the latest oh it doesn’t have a sound um [Laughter] like we’ll get them next time dude we’ll get in post-production I don’t think we don’t do post-production um no I download the audio because it’s funny on the old one on the other on the other okay you know what just for assisting videos what’s this uh let’s see if I can do this right what’s the cereal [Music] there you go just for you now we got it right okay guy behind the wheel expand on what we’re gonna do a little bit yeah okay so this is flip side Tuesdays Tuesdays this is the extended magazine edition of uh Tales From The Flip Side this is the commentary for Monday we just rip on everybody for Monday pretty much so this is uh pretty much this is pretty much my show and uh and I’ve I’ve done 10 years worth of comic book hauls yes and I’ve learned nothing I don’t know what I’m doing I don’t know how to communicate but uh I love comics and I love talking about them I love mumbling about them and I figure you know what let’s just let’s let’s do something you want to talk about your latest content you’re talking to me about I love story time with you oh um so I went oh gosh oh how bad I am at uh finding Comics oh yeah because to the contrary right all your haul videos all the stuff you put on pickups people were like no way you got that so uh there’s a little here’s a little redeeming quality for the haters out there haters well no it feels like I’ve I’ve lately that’s right and uh because I went okay so I’ll look through a long box right but I feel like I’m in such a rush that I like just pass over so so I’ll leave that box somebody else will go to the same box and I’ll just kind of peek over and I’m like I would have bought that I would and they pull out books that I’m like I would have bought that I would have bought that I would have bought that so I don’t know I think I’m uh I feel like um Jordan in uh 2002 with the Wizards with the Wizards yes man he uh he has some good Clips remember when he like pump fake or he pumping that three and then dude just went flying bodies I mean I still got some moves but you know that’s like damn you can children up to 20 or 40 pointer every night you know have a couple times a week you know I’m I think there’s that uh image of Jordan where he’s like on the ground and like fighting for the ball he’s like sliding on the on the court fighting for the ball and you know what I mean just kind of like ah ah you don’t want to see that and I think he got like a scrape on the face I’m like ah and I want to see that but that’s how it feels man that’s how it feels but I don’t know well I’m still gonna keep plugging away though at least you uh aren’t quitting like our Infamous friend so I know right but uh now here the here’s what I want to do for this show just kind of keep it simple keep it simple because I know you ain’t trying to do any more work I’m not trying to do a lot of work so it’s like would you say to keep it simple if I see something interesting I’ll throw it to Dino and he’ll put it in the uh he’ll put it in the slideshow you dig yeah yeah uh let’s uh let’s get into the slideshow that you prepared for us AKA I just did I just did the graphics work because I’m an idiot um so kind of so I guess and I I’ll kind of and correct me if I’m wrong here because this is your show we’re gonna do kind of like things that don’t come out on Monday and you know it’s funny when we when I put a game mother show like in the chat just a little behind the scenes people send me stuff some stuff makes it some stuff don’t yada yada yada so this is like you said a more extended release a lot of stuff happens on Tuesday and then like for next Monday I’m like [ __ ] did we put it on there did we not put it on there because I’m like oh it’s old news and instead of the other channels picked it up I’m not saying right wrong or indifferent you just you know I want to put on [ __ ] that people have been growing to death forever but uh this is dropped actually um Masters Universe movie Dead at Netflix after at least 30 million you know you could put that in my pocket man in development and Mattel shopping for a new buyer man you know what uh what does this mean for comic book speculation I mean the the Skeletor variants I don’t think that’s gonna like I think the rare the rare Masters of the Universe Comics I wish leg was on here I think the Motu variants and stuff like that but I mean the rest of it’s just like I don’t know I I what do you what do you equate to do maybe blade like two two major Dracula 10 right I mean has it been delayed so many times yeah the hot book just you know like you said like uh our boys used to say it just cooled down and put it went away back in the Box you know yeah so okay so they got a so they have to find a buyer then wait for the rider strike to be over then wait actor strike to be over then they have to develop a script then they’d have to you know they were five years away probably I think so so this is like a live action deal yes okay so and then you know I think all these actors might get replaced as if it’s four or five years on the line you know these guys don’t be too old honestly Dolph Lundgren was He-Man back in 87 that’s all you need that’s all you need just pop into the old beach VHS taping yeah yeah um yeah I mean like you said I mean come on let’s let’s be honest here this is not the first property that’s gone up and down up and down gone away had some heaters on it yeah yeah so I mean everybody everybody loves me everybody loves c-man yeah and uh like AOA says uh Masters of the Universe doesn’t need a movie but it would help a good one would help correct a good one would help a nice mix of fantasy like Lord of the Rings meet Star Wars oh um I think uh I think the other thing too is um you know it’s like walking dead right Walking Dead had it today right and then it’s maybe gonna happen today again maybe it’s a big if it maybe but I mean maybe you know I don’t know I mean animation is cool I mean the Animated Series wasn’t too bad when it came out on Netflix right I mean I think Netflix was just trying to do as much as they can in age we’re like okay we spent 30 million on this thing and it’s like yeah I know right in Netflix I I think they’re kind of they’re bleeding money man yeah they’re they’re on the skids yeah like a lot of streaming services I like I like Netflix I mean I watch it obviously but I mean I don’t know I don’t know I I thought they would go just to Castlevania route and just make more um cartoons like Castlevania like season one season two of Castlevania or whatever season two or three or whatever is now yeah but uh oh yeah but this is hard to make it cheesy it’s like you know it’s it’s Masters Universe it was like 80s 80s cheesiness like Fisto ninja you know what I’m saying like the craziest names you can’t take those names seriously but we would we would try I would suspend disbelief and make a name like Fisto web store you know what I’m saying I would take them seriously I would suspend disbelief uh that’s all we got kind of got for news this and this is like a short version of this so by all means the first show so if it goes like 30 minutes we’ll be we’ll be good but um uh it’s okay uh and then we kind of made this new thing look at this new graphics the market stalker Market State yes because I listen one of my favorite pastimes is to look up what the hell sold on eBay okay I’m stalking the market the market has taken and we talked about this yesterday this is gargoyles live action I’m not saying it’s not true it’s just been reported by it from the boys a not credible source so DVD to be determined pins it was um but go ahead go ahead Market stalker I’m sorry no I’m just saying uh the market stalker I uh I love stalk in the market it’s taken the Market’s taken a restraining order out on me yeah well because I’m stalking it I got you man uh I like this cap 75 um well I’ll get better pictures too these pictures we have to figure that out too yeah did you do this on your computer uh yeah if you do it on the app and then throw it in the app from Instagram just just make a picture of it and it’s gonna crop out the you know the make it you know like how we do it on the market report on Mondays yeah yeah no big deal uh Captain America comics 75 6-0 I mean 6-0 is a great grade for 50 you know 50s comic obviously and play 380 you’re really not that bad of a price um yeah okay so I I didn’t realize yeah because towards the end uh of Captain America’s run of that of that series he just doesn’t appear it’s just like oh it’s just a bunch of Mystery Tales and horror tales and stuff like that so I thought this was hell interesting and this one and it just sold right and let me uh let me do some let me get some expansion for you I said I mean it’s a great uh it’s a great cover so hell yeah that’s a beautiful beautiful golden age book yeah I’m sure that’s probably the uh MCS final collection they probably had or something um yeah but 6-0 um yeah 23 80 54 bits strong man strong strong stuff that’s something you don’t see every day so especially in a six so we got a deal on that one I think I mean but like you said sometimes it’s weird Captain America in my opinion I don’t collect Captain America comics I I collected one of the Red Skull one that I got for like a pedigree yeah look um I sold that very quickly but uh Captain America is just I feel like it just it’s almost as bad as like Marvel’s answer to Superman and just guys like there’s like a few Comics that people collect and the rest of it’s just do you skip Captain America in the bins because I do um no I definitely wouldn’t skip golden age well not golden age but I’m saying just Captain yeah but just cap yeah it’s like there’s anything like FF right Fantastic Four unless it’s like number you know 48 to like before knowing I don’t don’t even look here’s a long box of all long boxes and I’m like I’m good don’t don’t nobody say nothing bad about cats people people hating on me oh boy Gonna Be Wild now um I I don’t know I just I mean the timely stuff’s great don’t get me wrong you just the rest of it’s just got rich in my opinion but yeah it is well it’s just uh over produced yeah right so you talk about scarcity and all that good stuff um this is you this is all you on the old bro turn the lights down low it’s time to get romantic look at the Barry White going brother so we’ve got confessions of Love number 13 beautiful lb cold cover um this to me is uh this is a type of book that I’ve been searching for and no no no no no no no but yeah like if I can find a book like that for cheap like say for I don’t know 50 bucks or something like that I would be all over it I got I got a book I’ll I’ll shoot it on eBay I’ll show you after we get done with this the book I might buy it um but I’ll show you guys uh I just found it today and one of my boys has it so he’s he was at the lake in uh Georgia today so he’ll get back to me hack and slash hey assistant one two Tim’s healer to get signed so this is weird so I didn’t even I didn’t know anything like I didn’t know this title existed so Hack Slash my first Maniac so this is like a prequel series and so you have the the first print which went for around 50 bucks and then you have the second print which went for around 130.

And like I was uh scanning eBay I was trolling eBay and saw that I’m just like what the what the hell is it’s so weird because like different Hack Slash series that was original cover one okay so that’s the variant all right yeah and it’s by prison of course yeah that doesn’t look like prison you don’t think so no because her work is a little bit it’s it has a little bit more of a 2d look to it but that looks good though it’s fire yeah as a young kid say it’s do p do they still say off the chain no that’s that’s straight when we were up I said I still say it [Music] I like it yeah but uh let’s go back to you as I’m just showing up better coverage for you the funny thing yeah and I’m looking at and I’m trying to see other listings and those were the only two really yeah everything else is a trade paperback with that same cover image see that’s that’s so that’s my problem with the Hack Slash slice hard that’s the that’s the cover for the Tim seelys cover C variant that’s the trade paperback cover for that too yeah everything else on eBay is just the cover image everybody doesn’t the the volume one here yep yep yep yep yep yeah people love you dude that’s rad yeah and like you said it’s so hard and then you’re like I’m gonna put a search warrant I’m gonna put a search in and it’s like you’re gonna get a bunch of these you know it’s getting well that one’s a real copy but you can say you get a bunch of these that’s a good idea like 45 of those that show up every day so it’s um hardcover paper bag I mean Tennessee’s that you know what’s funny I would have um I would have sent it the hard I would have bought one for 10 bucks and had Tim Sealy he does remarks and stuff for free I think actually so with some of the sdcc and just let them draw the [ __ ] out of it who cares right like you’re gonna sub it you know but interesting but good cover it caught it just caught my interest um you know I really don’t I think I have Hack Slash one in like a couple of Hack Slash issues so but just singing that and seeing the prices for them and this came out in what 2010 so they could there you know these things have simmered in the long boxes yeah and it’s like how many how many really people are collecting Hack Slash and all the offshoots effects you know it’s like dude there are so many freaking covers that you would think go over a lot in offshoots dude like Hack Slash this and hack slashing Chucky and whatever yeah um I don’t think I don’t think so I never read a hacks I’m terrible I think the coverage are suggestive I don’t think Hack Slash is a TNA book but I could be I I yeah I guess it has substance to it you know but I mean it’s got to it’s only got [ __ ] 85 different [ __ ] things yeah um I think we show this I don’t think we showed this one last night I think this one just ended okay yeah so a 9-6 Star Wars one sells for 8.88 after uh 23 bids yeah this is the one we showed last night for people 620 oh this is the African Edition oh that thing is destroyed so yeah for 624 and uh Z said he sold one for 600 that was in better shape than that one’s the last one holy crap so that’s a I don’t know that’s just to me it seems like a strong price but I don’t but maybe especially for this market right now maybe if this were two years ago that probably be well over a grand I can I want to do some digging Point yeah I pay for it I might as well use it uh thank you Oracle yeah right that’s what I do I try to be the young Jamie AKA from Joe Rogan [Laughter] I got a lot of Boomer energy about me so you know I I’m not I’m not technically sound technical no technologically sound that’s cool um nine six so uh down 2022 average was 11 39 90 day average was 934 so okay uh it’s it’s been as low as 735 so it’s either like you’re gonna be really good at like or really bad at 7 35 750 yada yada yada or you’re gonna do like 1200 somehow or 15 you know it’s interesting so that’s all over the place yeah especially yes just because I guess what Star Wars is kind of it’s yeah no one cares anymore it’s okay they had their hey you know and I know especially they had their [ __ ] day it’s not like they didn’t make their money you know that’s for sure they were selling Star Wars what the [ __ ] was even so anyways uh look at this boy well top loves gonna be coal cover yeah this is another one uh lb Cole Matt Baker and this is this just sold like maybe an hour or two ago and I figured let’s throw it on there just because I I love this cover I beautiful red dress oh love it love it [Music] that’s all I wanted to say about I just wanted to throw it out there oh yeah let me see if I can find them but so I’m gonna go back to wrestling if people hate this [ __ ] thing but this is a book that has wrestling characters kind of in it so uh this is my own Market soccer um now I don’t collect um um I don’t collect these kind of books I didn’t know they really existed um I mean I know they existed but look at this I could yeah I could have swore I’ve seen this before yeah so he had some raw so I was thinking about buying raw but little little Hogan Savage Pharaoh’s Lounge American Safari Sketchbook from 21.

I dig it right oh yeah I put it I put it in my empty space I have right there that I sent for a remark is that a how come there okay so in the Caps how come it’s not like an H and an R you know what I’m saying Oh Oh you mean it’s an ml yeah flight flight all right um I want to say that Hogan’s biceps are freakishly big like they should be yeah Savage looks okay I could I think it could be a little beefier uh the left arm is looking very minuscule but the right bicep yeah I think because he’s trying to flex in the top right maybe and left he’s trying to be more relaxed but it just looks even weirder because Hogan’s bicep is 25 000 inches longer but but you know I didn’t know how rare this was and uh I I threw an offer to our buddy for like 40 bucks and I’m like I guess for a raw I mean I don’t know he has them for like nine age for like a crazy amount of money but I I I’ve never collected I’m trust me I I know a lot but I don’t even collect feral Lounge American Safari Books you know I just saw what the regular Safari boats are going for like 40 50 bucks wrong like I don’t know anyways that that’s what I was kind of digging on so it looks good though thanks it looks funny yeah right maybe well maybe Hogan don’t sign it for me I’m obviously Savage again um what else um oh did you have did you have pickups because I didn’t I didn’t we didn’t we didn’t pick us was like a [ __ ] show yesterday you know tickets for you uh nothing yet yeah I’m I’m gonna have pickups and hopefully at least maybe next week when Colbert comes back from sdcc um what else we gotta talk about uh I didn’t see anything else I mean we control eBay too I mean did you have any did you see any more of those slides in the uh yeah no I grabbed them all you did well you told me not to do ASM 361 or Wolverine or Transformers there is let’s see there’s all the ones above it no right I can do those real quick okay I messed it all up see I was like I knew it I was like oh it’s only like 10 slides it’s fine you know what I got carried away because I thought I thought I threw too many up no you’re cool look at this look what I can do for you so okay this was a hot book from I want to say 2020 Daredevil 610 second print so I believe this is the this was the first appearance of I forget the character’s name but he makes his first cover the first cover appearance is on that second print and um I I think this was like a I want to say like foray oh [ __ ] oh are you wise versus Marvel there you go um look at this I don’t know so it’s elektra’s last appearance of this and then first appearance of foreign yeah the vigil oh name first revealed so yeah that book was super hot like you know around 2020 and now because I remember when I found uh a copy you know for cover price and being excited but I think this is a good book to pick up regardless because they’re double coming back so I mean yeah just pick yeah just uh Buy on the dip I guess as I say on YouTube you’re giving me inspiration for our show the next month that I can dig through people’s boxes and be like haha huzzah you got it so we got this one uh oh this still has heat some some heat not not as much heat as a head back in the day but okay so all new Wolverine number two one in 25 variant first appearance of honey badger the honey badger okay so this book is weird because I remember this this book was on the cusp it was on the cusp of being like a thousand dollar nine eight it was close to it but it wasn’t it wasn’t quite there and I think it’s this book should be just based off of the cover art alone it should be a thousand dollar nine eight and this is at what 548 correct after however many bids but um yeah I I think this is a good price if you can get it way cheaper even better but I think this is for me like Gabby honey badger all new Wolverine all that [ __ ] that came out I mean maybe 300 375 I guess maybe I mean I don’t know I mean it’s not super rare by any such imagination it was 2016.

I mean yeah but no that’s cool I like that book I always forget about that book oh Batman action this is a book that uh I should have bought but I just never got around to it just for the Nostalgia Factor alone yes the uh Batman 89 the movie poster movie poster variant in a 9-8 selling for 112 bucks um hopefully there are some raws out there I can get because I do I back in 89 I was obsessed obsessed and this is bringing back so many memories and I see in I think a lot of people were complaining that the size were cut off but that’s how the poster looked the the sides of the bat symbol were cut off but uh yeah let’s just bringing back memories so this is um this is interesting what’s the CIA home version going for for that um that uh it’s not bad I mean 69 you know I don’t see it I saw a nine eight up here somewhere 650 signed but interesting but those are just buy it now prices and nobody’s paying it you know yeah let’s let’s go Seoul I don’t think anybody’s actually even so long probably in a while but I don’t see anything interesting very interesting just yeah oh yeah so yeah so the Batman 89 yeah that’s I mean I like this be cool if Keaton signed it be dope him and Nicholson could you imagine if him and Nicholson were doing a cgt signing be sick um let’s get uh Kim Basinger and uh uh Robert wall want in on it oh well I mean he’s got enough money from our list I’m a [ __ ] okay you know oh that’s funny okay so this book here Dr Aphra number three uh uh one in 25 variants so this is the first appearance of Dr aphra’s love interest she was a I think a imperial officer or something like that but uh this book was hot uh a couple years ago not so much now not so much now but it’s it’s still a respectable price even though the price has uh gone down I mean and you could maybe find in a box somewhere I would assume maybe somebody skipped over it maybe okay so I remember picking picking this book up and uh selling it for I think like 250 a couple years ago you know what I’m saying so it I I think this book still could have potential so I would I would say if you find it for like 75 bucks go ahead and pick it up you know what I’m saying but yeah I just figured that’s something to just be on the lookout for look at that I think I sold a raw copy for more than that long short you see long shorts post on Instagram today about Iron Heart we’re all friends even though people think we’re friends with everybody uh um he does the market watch thing remember uh yep what does he call it I don’t even know what he really calls it long short market watch yes you use the man he was talking about um a book that was like fire and then all of a sudden dropped off the face of the Earth uh here we go let me do this we make big bank give credit to the man his dudes do that was a hot book wasn’t that a thousand dollar nine eight yes sir so I just see I see we’re talking about all that stuff um oh no you know what I think that was like a thousand dollar raw in the and I think like a nine eight was like a couple Grand yeah as far as that as far as that um yeah this torque variant goes and nobody cares now I mean that just brought me back to uh what you were talking about here with this one yeah so ironheart Jamal Campbell uh uh I think this is a one in 50 cover if I’m not mistaken so for a one in 50 even if it was a one in 25 for a nine eight to sell for 34 bucks you know what I’m saying that’s that is that’s hey man hey I’m just trying to be optimistic around here man not all of your Comics are gone maybe they are you see you MCU stop dropping the ball with these characters man come on man uh all right okay this is interesting just because uh I’m over the something is killing the children variants I’m over I’m over James tinian homaging his own [ __ ] you know what I’m saying I’m over it I’m I’m done move on I’m I’m tired of Miles Morales um homaging Peter Parker’s covers I’m tired of this [ __ ] here so let’s uh hey don’t don’t tell Easy that man okay I’m over this but I will say that is a hella respectable price so world tree world yeah world tree number two did you read this nah people people gotta say this is probably a decent a decent series I don’t know I’m sure it is but you know ah green error we this one pops up on Mondays sometimes yeah um 585.

I sold one for like 200 I want to say eight years ago so it’s good to see this, uh just getting it’s getting it so even though I don’t have a copy I don’t have a dog in the uh fight but yeah I think I think this is one of those that like oh you should look at it if um that’s one of those long box things like let me look at 110 and then just jump out of the F’s uh comic book long boxing there but no I like this book it’d be cool to have I mean I’m not a big green barbarian guy but I mean it’s cool I guess yeah yeah I get because I always think oh I’ll come across it again new nope not at all not for cheap I know that yeah yeah not for cheap oh three lane 50. I don’t know why I put this on here it’s just interesting because this book is is weird just because it’s the uh Jim Lee variant and sometimes it goes for a respectable amount and sometimes it doesn’t I don’t know black is night stuff like I just never hit I don’t think I mean it was like I’ll tell you what some Blackest Night and then you have some Brightest Day it’s it’s kind of it’s like that’s a mixed bag the one I’ve been looking for is that Green Lantern 55 variant that I really don’t want to spend a [ __ ] ton of money on the ringering the Lobo Lobo yeah yeah cause I’m an idiot nah man that it’s like why would why would I buy this stupid ass cover even though I like it so much but I’m not going to spend what they you know listen if Lobo ever hits that that’ll be the cover to buy guaranteed because I got a 9-8 I guess yeah now the other thing is I got that 90 from Sleepy um three yeah it’s like you’ll come across a cheat just uh just hold out hope who knows like one of the vendors at uh at the flips icon yeah he has one they’ll have one they’ll have one it’s right here he has it oh no that’s not him but he has one right now that’s not uh Dennis’s no I think Dennis is up here so it’s somewhere dude it’s somewhere I thought he had one for sale for a long time but uh yeah so I’ve been looking for 55 but whatever I digress um I just looking for stupid [ __ ] that was cool back in the day and I thought man maybe I’ll give this day in the sun again maybe and somebody drops and drops the ball but this book what do you make of this uh wasn’t this way more expensive um I thought it was like I thought it was like 700 I thought but I don’t know I mean these silks I mean I see these and they’re not nine age I just see them go for like 100 bucks you’re like 100 bucks and I’m like okay like I guess yeah so we have um uh Amazing Spider-Man number four the uh first appearance is silk one in ten Romos variant for those people that like are kind of doing other things and not paying attention to the screen so we have a 9 8 cell for 4 40 after eight bids I I lied um 20 20 21 okay 1180 bucks so let’s take this let’s take this back I’m gonna take this way back 2014 140 bucks and Flounder around there to like 2017.

That’s how that’s what he yeah and nobody Bid And it sells for 200 bucks that are hella disappointing I have to imagine the sellers disappointed in this right unless you got it for like a buck you know it’s online yeah I mean okay so to go through the trouble get yeah to get Jim Lee’s signature you know that thing you know that line if he okay if he was at a show that line wrapped around or uh I saw me you’ve been doing a lot of comic shop or store signings too so okay yeah but you gotta then you gotta get a graded right you got to get a witness you gotta and I’m sure he paid like what how much is a German league signature I thought it was at least 200.
