Bodybuilder With Cerebral Palsy Proves That He’ll Never Be Defined By His Disability
When Steve Alexy was a little boy, his parents were told he would never amount to anything because of his cerebral palsy.
But at the age of 43, he is smashing people’s perceptions of him by working his way to bodybuilder stardom. A video posted to Facebook by fellow bodybuilder Suzi Farren Newman shows the moment Steve stepped onto the stage at a competition in Virginia and flexed his way into the hearts of spectators and judges.
Alexy ended up taking a trophy home, and his determination is now inspiring millions of people around the world.

The athlete said he wanted to show people that physical disabilities can’t define anyone and that with enough courage, anything is possible.
