all right we’re live this is a Salesman Flipside Monday night uh yeah we haven’t done one of these in a while I think we skipped last week right and it has it been two weeks yeah we just missed one okay last week just one I know it’s okay I got I have so many shows I’m on now um um so yeah uh yeah we uh have game changing news out of TGC um I did some news uh a good marker report uh I got a good story about that when we get there and uh I have one only one pick I might show it on the other show but I can show it here too in case people didn’t watch it uh so we get through that and uh we can start going let’s go thank you [Music] okay uh uh let me do let’s get this [ __ ] off work yeah August 26th uh Flipside Comic-Con uh I messaged all the vendors so everybody was happy so I’m just gonna get it um yeah so I’m gonna I think I I thought about not I thought about setting up and I was like man it’s gonna be pain in the asses and people want me to do stuff and yada yada but uh I think it was getting pretty sliding into online Carters Carter’s booth and uh yeah if I get lucky I get lucky if not but I’ll bring some books I’ll give some books away nice so how many um how many vendors you got right now [Music] um thirteen thirteen fourteen so I have okay I have let me break this down I have two artists like I got a guy who worked at Dark Horse and his uh daughter works at the brewery and she’s like a really good artist I have two Arts and Crafts People I thought for like women who show up at least they got like arts and crafts stuff um I got a person who does cookies and desserts because people are hungry and then I got the rest of our accountable dealers so they have and they have beer and we have beer uh we have wines and Beads I guess you would call it and uh common people want people to drunk shop yeah yeah right so guys yeah yeah I’ll spend that thousand dollars on that spot [ __ ] send it uh so never made that decision yeah right uh set of times nine to ten uh and then the cons officially from ten to five but I’m sure so all right oh yeah uh yeah yeah that’s all yeah all this Greek stuff yeah you’re asking the wrong Greek I’m uh I’m an American Greek I don’t I don’t know um that’s okay um so yeah so we got that um and in the new segment um I know you talked about this leg um I know we don’t talk about cars a lot but I just want to throw it out there I mean I I saw this and I’m like 300 000 worth of cards in just one good yeah I guess I’ll get it but damn yeah I mean I I think that might be a little bit inflated because it has to be yeah because it’s not MSRP yeah no I mean somebody somebody probably like after market prices though I mean we’ve been there setting up in Indy and seeing you know I could see how the chaos happens oh yeah there’s people in and out with dollies and trucks and skids and all kinds of stuff and like if you aren’t watching your [ __ ] and in our younger years when we were like insane stupid we were like oh we’ll just leave our books here [ __ ] it it’s like nah be okay but you know how it was it’s like Pete you know and the problem is like we’ve all been there right it’s you know and Chris Works security so he knows it’s like they try to push everyone away you know at the end of the day and then some people strike like oh I gotta go you know do something and all those I really bet this was during the load-in just oh I’m sure it was yeah because that’s when it’s that’s when it’s like everybody’s in and out they can’t track who’s who yeah yeah and I would doubt it for a card vendor like that because that’s that’s got to be a mega dealer but for like us regular guys or um us us regular guys or smaller dealers you might have one or no helpers yeah you know I mean when we were doing it yeah four guys yeah if it could be enough but I mean like we always had one guy stay at the car or like hey you know like it’s one dude say at the booth and then you know at least you know yeah so this screen scenario and like you see again you see it at like a mega or a VidCon when it comes from a setup perspective is that they’re just paying any they’re snatch of people offer those Services where you’re basically like you know putting bids out there for just help on crap whatever it may be and so it’s just Joe Blow local from the neighborhood it’s just like hey I’m trying to make 15 an hour I’ll come and then they see it like it’s the same thing that happened with cgc when they started hiring like every single person during you know covet days to just work theirs like you hire some Rando somebody sees something or knows enough to be danger and goes oh that looks valuable and you know if I get caught in like oh I just got turned around but if you don’t get caught and just basically piled it off like nobody knows who’s doing what because it’s just people everywhere during the initial setup days of a mega con like that so yeah easily somebody getting lost in the shuffle with a pound or two of boxes because realistically like was it supposed to be one palette or like multiple palettes with missing so I can see easily multiplies get missing and somebody wouldn’t even notice it until like people are coming to the booth and they’re just like yo where are the so-and-so so-and-so’s at and it’s like well [ __ ] that shit’s already gone man so if you so if you look I mean there’s multiple panels stacked up I mean it’s not hard to just wheel one and then oh wheel another one in a truck whatever they you know ban or whatever the hell they had cargo van or whatever just drop it off at a corner near the roundabout like I mean I’m I’m sure described to San Diego I was like just take that [ __ ] over to the roundabout and call your homeboy and be like yo throw this in the back of the truck gone everything yeah pretty quick and that’s a good point I don’t I don’t I don’t remember anything specific so I don’t know how many pallets they got that’s so wild yeah 300 000 that had to be a couple man because I mean I know people who have stores that doing magic cards and things like that and one like one power work is a release like that’s not a 300 000 worth of cards no it’s uh eBay prices on lorcana exactly uh it was only one pallet so that was the palette if I graded them all it’d be worth 300K that sounds like for insurance purposes it was 300 000 yeah let’s do it that way yes yeah I mean hell look at the the One Ring card post Malone ball that for a million I’m not saying that was in there but I’m just saying well it couldn’t have been because that’s a one-on-one card so yeah yeah I know but I’m just saying I mean 300 000 if you have that was I don’t know right what’s that the rant one rank card well yeah yeah folks Malone bought it oh he got it yeah yeah I knew it was I knew it was found I didn’t know that it got sold sold yeah yeah there were offers out there initially for like 50k like [ __ ] offers and posters came through and dropped his dick on the table not as mine yeah I got this wasn’t it David Adams had a thousand or I mean a million uh well I don’t know the bounty on it yeah yeah something like that golden had one like that too yeah so you must say Millions must have really went hard I mean 2.4 if these would have sold for yeah yeah he’s a huge Magic the Gathering guy though wow yeah and that’s like three shows for him so yeah pretty much yeah at this point yeah uh I’m not the guy this is this is this is your territory Chris uh Margarita has a levier I mean I guess I don’t know he’s gonna play Heather he went in and uh Daredevil born again maybe yeah so that’s the rumor that’s floating around um from uh Daniel rpk like he came through saying that uh the the Vanessa from um from the Netflix series I think has been recast and then they’ve cast her as his current Uh current girlfriend Heather Glenn in the show so I don’t think I need to change it up so that’s good yeah it can’t always be uh what’s your face yeah it’ll it’ll give us a little less confusion uh first appeared in Daredevil Volume 120 so the one number 126 I guess 126.
It feels like this feels like real diceyec there oh yeah I’m just saying man um let me uh let’s do a little bit again first appearance of uh Daredevil’s main squeeze number two yeah I don’t actually know which one that is do we figure sorry yeah Daredevil 126 126 okay there’s been selling though right um because we’ve got so many there’s been so many Daredevils selling yeah 15 but I mean it’s it’s selling but I mean nothing crazy I mean seven bucks 12 bucks I mean if you have dollars it’s moving yeah I guess okay anyways uh well not the one I was thinking of but I see it it’s not even that great of a cover um this is interesting this was confusing as [ __ ] I know I know so gal you’re not saying she’s developing Wonder Woman three with James again and Peterson so doesn’t mean she’s playing the role means that she I need to go back and look for somebody here let’s just figure out right now um does she what she an executive producer on the first two I I thought she wasn’t the first one I think she was on the second one the sounds right but yeah because if she’s an executive producer and if she built if it was built in a way that she continues to be an executive producer because the same thing with um what’s his face like he ain’t he hasn’t written or been involved in a dare in a Spider-Man movie or actually a um an Iron Man movie since Iron Man 2 but uh Barbaro gets paid off of all of them going forward and many others do as well so a lot of people were who were part of those early early days took took writing credits or points in a way that even if you if you use the character’s likeness for the character they created they get to profit off of it and so she could have easily set herself up in a position where she maybe rewrote some stuff and has a writing credit or whatever it may be they think a producer who knows what her contract looks like but I I seriously doubt Gal Gadot will be back to play the character I think she will have her name in the same way that um what’s what space you got paid off of um off of uh Transformers still and he had anything to do with that since like the first oh Michael Bay yeah yeah Michael Bay get paid off of those since you know to this date you still see Michael Bay’s name attached you though and he didn’t do it since like the third one I want to watch Transformers tonight the new one yeah I haven’t seen it and people seem to like it and I have been lagging on watching it I was going to watch guardians galaxy the new movie just dropped on Disney plus I need to watch that uh oh that you should definitely watch that yeah I we missed last week but I’ve been watching I haven’t finished it but I got through like six episodes of Twisted Metal I like it let’s go I thought I saw the first three it’s good yeah it’s good it’s really good I watched it it’s light-hearted and funny and kind of gives you the stuff you want I would uh say it’s Deadpool but in a TV format maybe something like that it’s in that ballpark I’ll give you that yeah yeah and it’s a good chill watch and funny yeah like you know what I mean it’s not it’s not hyper focused Game of Thrones commitment you know it is like turn off just chilling enjoy laugh I I I I don’t want to creep too much into wrestling but uh Twisted Metal um Sweet Tooth played by Samoa Joe but his boyfriend will learn that which kind of pisses me off because someone Joe can talk it’s not like you can’t you know but no but they wanted an iconic voice I know I know I know it just kind of but it’s good I’ve enjoyed it yeah um I didn’t put the trailer up here but I just put this so This official poster for I’m root season two but there’s a trailer out there too so a little light-heartedness nice I mean it just makes you kind of got to go to the trout to get people to get stuff on the uh on screen so yeah that’s a good point uh I didn’t I didn’t put the video on this one either but McDonald’s is uh tweeting something about Loki so oh I don’t I don’t want to play it but uh Loki uh yeah they’re doing a connection with Loki with McDonald’s for some reason so you mean X actually me is this is an old old tweet since you can’t tweet anymore oh yeah X I’m sorry yes X Twitter whatever you want to call it yeah I will always say Twitter and just like everybody else would be like in it but yeah there’s can’t well it’s a oh it does say tweet it says X in the court yeah I have no idea I still I dude I am having a problem they’re already losing me just because I now have to look for a black app on my home screen instead of a blue one there’s the same [ __ ] place on my iPhone screen for like eight nine ten years so same thing with threads I’m [ __ ] I don’t even know what the [ __ ] happening to threads which is like also black right yeah it’s uh yeah so it’s like yeah oh okay look at that Sylvie works at McDonald’s in the show so okay sure I wonder how much McDonald’s paid for that [ __ ] yeah a lot um the the uh story of the night though um cgc game changer that’s what I put on the title uh they’re gonna start doing Imaging and they have done Imaging um for all your uh scans so uh when you send them in so if you get something greater they scan it and uh we’re gonna give you some previews right now so we can kind of show you and we’ll talk through this and uh yeah so they’ve been doing it go ahead yeah they’re doing it longer than we noticed I figured out tonight because I think last week Chris you’re the first person to show me or show us whatever and uh mine’s like holy [ __ ] like I can and and literally the night before I had just taken like use my phone for 20 pictures of slabs and this gives me all the right to be lazy all you gotta do is check for scratches and cracks and then click list you can make your listings and so this is one of Josh Allen’s that I was on our account but it was back in 621 so I don’t know it was then or before or what day it actually went off they shook them fast so it wasn’t yeah so uh when you do this you actually have to click on the actual book like the slot number one two three or four and then you start all the way down here and it’s these which kind of looks like an ad like a my comic shop like oh but you have the actual scans so if you click on open link a new tab you get the nice 4K link and it’s really good I mean it’s not terrible yeah I mean the only thing I’ve had issues on are foils like they don’t look you know too hot it’s a foil it’s almost possible get a good picture of us anyway so everything also looks amazing right like I I agree on the foils man I have to take like my foil slabs not that there’s usually very many of those but I gotta walk around make sure I get the whole thing in there multiple times and yeah but you’re playing playing the angle game there this is this is another for sure this is another good one so yeah you just click on these and then like we talked about the game changer right is you can take these picks theoretically and then save them to your desktop or save them to your phone or whatever you want to do and then you can just post right on eBay so yeah yeah exactly or have it or have it drafted at least and while they come in the door you’re not trying to like just take them out of the bag and snap them you can just like yo just once you hit the once you hit the mail I’m like boom it’s all you know yeah just you can literally do the whole thing once they ship from well I mean if I assume most of us would set up templates if that’s where we’re going to list them uh um everything images yeah images on everything I guess going forward going forward yeah so the earliest we could find was the end of June Tony of on at least on our account but yeah between six two and six twenty six there was no shipments so that’s it man and no you don’t you don’t have to pay this comes this comes free it’s on the cgc front page yeah and glad that you don’t have to pay I think you don’t take all the picks these scans look great though yeah they are great they’re better than um better than my pictures yeah I add more pictures the only the only thing I can see an issue here is I don’t know to get I I take a square picture first which doesn’t work it goes well I just use my iPhone camera for the pictures um they um the first one I take a square then I take one that looks like this then usually I’ll do the label um in case people want to you know read it or see it you know to be honest most of my stuff is modern so things like page color and stuff isn’t as evident but it is and so uh and then you know yeah three holders too at the back I assume they don’t always they don’t always list read their list reholders on your account and they don’t always yeah I don’t so I don’t know my guess would be they probably are snapping photos of reho so this is as much uh so like let’s let’s be real about what they’re doing here like this is as much a cya for cgc as it is a feature that is being presented to us as customers this is because they have had issues with you know the shipping companies that they use just wrecking books QC being trash and this allows them to hold people accountable for what they’re letting go out the door because like if your book has a bunch of scratches on it you will see it in these scans and everything I got back in the last you know week that was um failing this realm not a single scratch on it so like they’re now holding people accountable to let for letting trash go out the door because now it’s like hey man like you can see this book you took these pictures at what point were you gonna stop and go this big ass cup in the middle of the book probably isn’t you know a good look for us to let go out the door so it’s as much protecting them it’s protecting them against um counterfeit books because it allows people to be able to look up you know images of the book at the time it was graded um so that you know you can basically do a one-on-one comparison hey this don’t look like the book is in the slab right now so what’s going on well and then let’s talk about that so if you so this is for all books and you can actually search from people’s books too so like somebody has a CDC look you can go here on the verify cgc uh verification and the the picture there but elbows up another Pandora’s box of scams people can just take those photos now and just Layman as their book uh I mean I don’t think it makes it any worse at this I mean no I know photos of every book now yeah but I don’t think it’s a reverse lookup I I’m I don’t think you can you’re not gonna be able to click through to the census so it’s not like you can guess that number if it’s not listed on eBay right so like you couldn’t it’d be tough to re well it’d be the same thing as stealing a picture off eBay yeah I mean there’s so many yeah okay sorry there’s so many pictures I mean there’s a there’s the same account I see listing the same random ass books that they listed on a thousand different zombie accounts over the years so I mean they’ll just steal some more pictures it doesn’t I I don’t think it makes it any worse the pictures already exist you know yeah and then it’s yeah and I think anyway and also it’s good because um some you know like myself on a dealer account I will submit for people and the fact that without giving them my account login they can scan they go there that’s for everybody so that’s not private to your account to the best of my knowledge so yeah yeah anybody so you can go to the um you can go to the uh the QR code on the back and then then go ahead and uh and then yeah it’ll hit it right there it should pop up save them to your phone or you know uh you open up your browser on your desktop you know um I did notice I think um so it’s still the I haven’t tried the do the mobile device thing um to click through um I have had I forget how I looked it up but it has to be the mobile um the mobile site doesn’t have it on there but I think I used through my phone Chrome browser to request the desktop site and I was able to just uh uh save it and also when I clicked on it and it came on uh when it blew up you couldn’t save it from there but before you blew it up you could just hold it down and it would and you should save image on it because it’s to me it’s easy to do it on the phone I like having pictures on my phone too so So speaking of that so mobile Safari does let you so the native browser on iPhone will let you um it will show up there immediately so that’s what I mean because I was out of town for the last two weeks I was just building listings from um the two boxes that just showed up over the last two days and so yeah you can absolutely grab them from uh mobile Safari but yeah Sean’s absolutely right like you you cannot save the image once you once you’ve clicked on the image and got a preview of it you cannot say from that view you have to either save from the smaller image or you have to right click and open a new tab to get be taken over and so for all the Geeks out there they’re storing all this stuff in AWS S3 so it basically will be there as long as CPC maintains an account with AWS so in perpetuity so you can actually link to these in your in your eBay so you can use the images you can link to it in your eBay listings and stuff you can link to it to your website so they’re basically providing you posted services so it’s kind of it actually is very beneficial to anybody who has a website who sells this [ __ ] because you can just use their their storage and they’re paying the billboard already to host your your images good point I don’t think yeah yeah so yeah that was one of the really cool things I was like oh [ __ ] this means that like if I decide to build a website or like use like a web front end to my eBay store I can link and use high-res images from um from cgc’s SW storage straight to my website as if it was just any other uh image reference on the Internet or how about this one uh you know how to set you know if you if you for insurance purposes I know it’s just a spreadsheet but if you’re a guy who likes to have pictures of your books you’d always could just save those in a folder on a flash drive and external hard drive and if your house are burnt down or flooded or some [ __ ] stolen at least you have all those pictures on your you know some some viable device theoretically too no absolutely but this really is like a game changer and I mean like I mean like you I mean you can zoom into those images I mean they’re high resolution um I mean you see everything that was on that book you know it’s you know because again phone images can leave things to be desired but like hey here’s the image from cgc you got a problem with what you’re seeing I think we made me see if you play the games right the right way we’ll see a reduction in people with these [ __ ] like oh you know book not after subscribe type of [ __ ] on eBay because like hey eBay I use the grading company’s official image to post this book they knew exactly what they were getting yeah you might see some people all of a sudden now not playing that [ __ ] game anymore of like uh you know buyers remorse are going to claim the book wasn’t you know like what they described it as well they’ll still do it but yeah oh yeah at least yeah that’s [ __ ] uh yeah I mean yeah this is good it makes life a whole lot easier it’s better pictures I mean I never had a scanner that I got to work as well as I see this yeah my scanner yeah when we were doing it yeah when we were doing my scanner was great uh but I had problems with uh it took you forever to dial it in though remember yeah yeah it took me forever and then I would have like the that would be like light from this because it’s the reflection of the you know the double walls on the slab and stuff like here and down low so you would get like light there I mean but like you said yeah it took me forever to uh to uh get a dollar in though not sick though like like this book you see everything but the only thing that you don’t always see on a scan is sometimes some texture issues can be hit but I mean once it’s in the Skin lab it doesn’t yeah we’re not going to get a better image of it on the phone hey you can uh you’ll be able to say all the hairs and cdc’s basically you know yeah dude not the ones on the inside but get some DNA testing yeah ah like a lot of you better than pick something yeah yeah that’s the other thing 100 like it’s not something well we’ll see because you know the old people out there we just take pictures on their phone but most people will be like oh cool I got like a new resource but I don’t have to like shoot it you know maybe all these guys I hate to like blizzard and all these people with like blue map guy and like all these green dudes maybe you’ll see less pictures of that so yeah it’s gonna be easier ma’am some people like their brand yeah I get it man I get it I mean we there’s a few sellers we all go oh man yep um speaking of that that’s all that’s all I got um for the for the news and the goodness um bring it back up for you here all right so before you go me and Carter ride SummerSlam and we got there way too [ __ ] early but Carter wanted to be there on time which is cool I get it dude it’s all good I have no qualms yeah it’s fun we were talking about half these books that are on the market report uh comparing the Tuesday shows on Monday so I’m like this one will be on there but you know it’s okay gotta go well this one has to be on there because I feel like I talked about this book a couple times now yes and then there’s like there was a wave of them in the last 10 days people people watch our show damn it I don’t it’s interesting I just I had not seen many cell and then all of a sudden Bam Bam Bam Bam Bam um there I think there’s probably six sales in the last two weeks and I rarely saw this thing pop up before um I did find the the prices interesting because that this uh first one is like 2K us that’s listed a fine minus the second one now it does have the stickers and stuff shown the second one’s a cgc six five but it ended at like seven or eight a.m on a Tuesday and then the other the thousand dollar one is a four or five um so first off I hadn’t seen many graded and all of a sudden they’re starting to go people must have figured out it’ll fit in the new slabs um and you know there’s not not a ton of sales of this book in um in uh GPA they’re all in almost all of them are in 2013 2023 except that there is one from November 2020 for a 2-0 incomplete but all the other sales are honestly from May to now um the highest one being a 9-4 for 9 600 so can you guys see the comments now like late can you see the comments you don’t throw it on YouTube anymore right well I I can I the reason I do is because I can’t I don’t read them one at a time and so I can I can scroll okay sorry I can scroll like that many you know what I mean yeah like I can see like eight messages in the comments one but I can see 30 and 100.
Sorry so sorry I do I do them both I like doing I like both so I I don’t know I don’t think there’s anything interesting going on in the dread verse it could just be that they’ve now hit slabs and they can be graded and now there’s a little more interest so people are I I hate to say it like being a few more I I I I’m gonna say and be a little uh not humble on this one and we’ll brag it braggadocious people watch the show man like I saw that WrestleMania or that uh that batch of the Beats I talked about it and all of a sudden the [ __ ] shows up you know I don’t think it’s coincidental I mean you talk about it we talk about books and all of a sudden they [ __ ] just show up you know anyway there’s a lot of UK sellers but I don’t know yeah who knows it’s just it’s just interesting I I do think the slab thing plays into it like something that couldn’t have been slabbed but now camp like Tank Girl was one of those and Warrior was another one um I think there’s a wave now they’re also um yeah I don’t know I just think that plays into it some if something could be slapped it automatically becomes worth more in some people’s eyes it’s true um this is uh one of the uglier amazing fantasies I’ve seen in a while uh um but wow 10K buy-in price for a 0.5 I feels a little high mind you at least the Spider-Man image is clear um I had kind of I guess we still haven’t seen it really drop below that 10K buy-in but I feel like some of the some of those twos and threes are starting to Edge down a bit so I’m surprised that the minimum buy-in hasn’t moved down at least a little bit but it’s not a pretty copy what’s that mean so are they giving blue without a sticker gift I don’t I don’t have enough information on that my friend I I do not know um that’s just a book I like I I like it because it feels to me like an homage to action one uh I had a beat ass copy at one point I sold it and I keep meaning to buy another one back uh I was kind of watching this one and it’s it’s not a terrible price but there was a 3-0 that sold earlier in the year for a thou or well 9-15 so this felt like a tad bit of a jump for a raw so I passed uh but someday I’ll score another one this one this one I I’m not sure what I’d know on this when I looked at all the pictures and it looks like a reprint at first because of the color so bright yeah and then but then I look at some of the other stuff and it’s like got water stains and a pen a stamp I think I still am not sure it’s not a reprint I just did you check the seller it could be just a [ __ ] up version that the kid had that came with the toy I is there a price on the cover I didn’t notice anything unusual I don’t see is there a price I just see the commas good I don’t know I think it was there I I didn’t have the images to zoom I I really spent a few minutes on this one because it just it breaks funny like the spine looks funny hey you know what we do when we do we uh click it off and I’ll do solar Cellar Spotlight let’s go I love these I just got it yeah I got it all right like if you look at the first or second pick of the spine looks weird uh so you can see a little water damage up in the corner here yeah but click yeah like that I don’t know that just looks too new those white cracks that’s not a real looking dude thank you Brad Brad’s saying Loot Crate oh look great yeah wow okay well somebody somebody had a very big auction and I don’t know if they purposely beat the book up or they found it beat up and thought it looked right in seller Spotlight let’s go to sailor 31.
Let’s go I love these other items I’m not even sure he knew it was a fake got some awesome Comics got some trains and that’s it I think he just put pictures of a book up the team results let’s see what he sold I love doing this too let’s let’s go oh man interesting fight all around I just think it’s a reseller that got it now he probably didn’t know enough to know it was a reprint this isn’t a common dealer no doesn’t seem to be see it seems like one of those people that scours the uh thrift stores yeah or buys like uh storage sales storage and [ __ ] like that so [Music] um there’s a funny one we’re going with a return or somebody really sad after 30 days and I said that to cgc so me and Carter saw this one while we were like shooting the [ __ ] at SummerSlam before the uh the event started I mean Carter didn’t know anything about these and there’s like a whole rash of these that sold within that day so I did some quick research because I I’d never heard of it and I I took a minute on the longer than a minute on the Google machine to find um because it’s not even listed as a in my comic shop doesn’t even have a listing for this which I found unusual yeah um so it’s a newsletter five issues ran in 1981 by the original friends of cerebus Club and then there was a Issue 6 to 13 were put out by aardvark and then there was a another seven issues put out in 2009 by some other group but the one through five all sold and they all sold in that I think this was the most of 400 but they were all in the two to three hundred range um can’t find much more than that it’s a fanzine but I can’t imagine that it was a hugely uh available item so we learned something new every day around here uh ahsoka’s still hot this is uh one of those cool books you don’t see very often if you uh remember the uh was it the cross plus 100 horrific homage set this is one of the covers in there you just don’t see it very often I think this is a pretty scarce book these child scores are tough just in general yeah so uh it’s only a 0.5 but 750 and it presents pretty well for the green and the Reds so I think it I can’t remember if I remember this one was missing pages or not but just said Center fold yeah you were you were buying that for the cover yeah um Gwen is still still in a pretty good lull uh the highest it’s sold this year 6600 I think this is still the lowest uh all-time high was 13k uh I just grabbed this one because it’s always good to check in on uh our friends in the Valiant Universe 617.
this is this 600 price point seems to be where this book lives other than if there’s a little bit of heat then it’ll jump that thousand but I rarely see it falling much below the 600. when was the last time it was a degree uh Grand I didn’t look good I mean I think it was two years 20. I had this on the other on Tuesdays uh 20 2019 I think because I think they’ve never been that long damn I think yeah I think it was like T don’t quote me uh I gotta go back I had to go back and listen uh I thought it was dinner wasn’t there like Rumblings of this being a movie or a TV show at one point so basically it was a thousand dollar book when Dinesh was still with Valiant about it uh this I mean so this one through me because I have not seen such a minor um publisher done in a different country like this is a comic media book uh horrific five so this one really surprised me uh if a horrific one or a horrific uh two or three popped up I would probably have to Pony up some cash I don’t love the five as much but and Comics cauldron he has a ton of like uh um foreign variants now yeah I know I mean I know this particular seller he’s he’s a he’s a good guy but he’s he knows what he’s doing yeah if you’re gonna buy from him you’ll get if you’re buying a foreign book from this guy he’s trustworthy I will say that [Music] uh Maximum Carnage a nine eight I wasn’t sure how many of these there were so I decided to to dig this one out uh there’s we’re sitting at 21 blue label 9 8 with two SS’s on there all-time highs 4500 so we’re still in a Carnage low I wonder if the SS’s or Tom Hardy he’s sick about it but that’d be kind of cool or Woody yeah or Woody or both both I don’t like six but I would put a [ __ ] Woody cigarette damn and he was Spider-Man like Tom Holland or something or whoever your Spiderman is yeah oh man yeah yeah I wouldn’t I wouldn’t think about a SIG but man a woody Sig I’d probably be down uh I like this book I I didn’t real that didn’t take for the book but I didn’t know there was a Library of Congress pedigree copies so yeah they they have one of the biggest collections I I it’s surprising that that book came out of the pedigree though for whatever reason well that’s what I was concerned I wouldn’t have thought they’d sell off with them once they’re in there but maybe they just have too much [ __ ] I I don’t know that story if somebody’s got it I’d love to hear more uh here’s an sdcc book that is interesting musk versus Zuck uh looks like it was just uh let me do a hundred what’s a blank canvas mean so blank can’t okay I mean there’s nothing in the book kind of hung out with the television uh with Nutella and uh the national Vinnie for gichunkas uh San Diego so it actually it’s Vinnie Kumar uh Productions on the inside of this and uh yeah so so Taylor did this book um so he draws it out and then and Men uses AI the wraparound cover is absolutely amazing um if you can kind of see the you can sort of see bottom left and right who’s in the crowd and that continues around the back side of that and I actually read the thing and it’s it’s pretty entertaining just talking [ __ ] to each other talking [ __ ] about Facebook talking [ __ ] about Twitter things like that it ends with uh they’re gonna have a uh you know to be continued in the next one um so uh yeah so uh blank canvas is going to be basically the name of uh the name oh that’s the publisher yeah so there’s only a hundred mostly give them away they’re Summit nerdy girls so Hive Comics have them in their Booth uh Vinnie actually gave me mine um so I’ve I got one oh Brian’s got one uh and literally on Sunday uh walking out of their uh Vinnie bottom for us so all right cool uh yeah so yes so this is yeah so you can see it’s actually pretty pretty sweet here I do love it through Alfred E Newman in there um but uh yeah super cool work only 100 of these things don’t expect it to go down um and uh this and so if they the other work is called if you checked for blank canvas there’s only 100 of those as well so if he I don’t know if he if his art keeps going the way it does this could be a multi-thousand dollar book someday to be honest with you um for to uh if he keeps growing in popularity as an artist um and uh so yeah so that’s it you had basically had to be at Comic-Con or be a friend or talk to Hive or a couple other people so this is actually great book uh only one had sold after Comic-Con actually I’ve sold it and it was I think 300 flat um so this is it’s good people are clearly looking for it especially if there’s a 49 bid one that ended about the same price uh I don’t know if uh 40 449 LGE or whatever if that was buy it now or whatever is going so yeah it looks like a one bit buyer so I’m actually gonna um I actually grading mine but honestly it’s not it’s not gonna be for sale anytime soon so this is a hold and I don’t even I don’t think it’s a I don’t think it’s terrible a terrible investment uh 300 bucks if they’re going to keep making pretty pretty cool looking books like this so all right it probably gave a must two big ABS though so he’s he’s more in our shape than that shape he came in he came in today and said he’s 300 pounds so if the fight’s gonna go too long then Zach would eventually have the advantage I think dude dude I don’t like 300 pounds it’s gonna look like Gracie back in the USD days when he’s fighting [ __ ] bar guys just [ __ ] strangling people yeah so yeah I think they both have a little bit too big abs and biceps there I know one’s one’s more likely to have abs than the other that’s for sure yeah but I don’t think anyone has 24 inch pythons no probably not uh cool book good read good quality all right so those of you that missed the uh nine six Nintendo Power for was it 26k for 1 100th of that you can have the five five nice um this book I always just like seeing high grade edition of the uh the dolphin 380 is not a bad price you just don’t see a ton of high grade of it I think it just wasn’t appreciated until spec hit it but then once spec hit it it kind of got appreciated for the cover itself so it kind of did a reverse loop on that again if you’re wondering yes that’s high grade for this book yeah yeah I don’t think I’ve had anything close and I’ve had quite a few copies yeah that price doesn’t seem bad considering the copies that like the beaters before I mean I haven’t had a copy probably at least four or five years yeah but you could find them I don’t think I had anything better than a raw like maybe 40 or 4-5 and still get you know 80 or 100 bucks for it yeah it’s a nice book it’s a cool cover you know again I’m a sucker for the green tones and this just kind of got that earlier art Vibe going to it too uh Star Wars still floating in the four and a half K range just it’s nice to check in on the price once in a while uh [Music] this book is a badass book I know I’ve sold mine off at 7.50 a few years back because it felt like a good get out Point um high was a grand in 2022 so it’s about 40 percent of the high point could be a good point to get back in if you see another for like 300 back in Baltimore yeah I mean I think the Hypes died down because of the first spider versus out and we’ve got what a year and a half yeah I don’t know if the hype will come back but I do think this is still a badass cover and you know probably the best rendition of the character that we have seen so um just a early Tech they don’t see too many of them pre-bats married cover you know qualified 5-0 still almost a grand somebody’s happy to add that to their collection because you know the people that collect that every book costs a ridiculous amount of money so to find one in uh a discount rate they’re probably extremely happy even with it being married cover uh a couple ultimate fallouts both selling pretty close the same price so I guess we can call that a fair a fair range one got a few more bids than the other obviously but uh seems to be a where we’re gonna sit for a minute yeah and then I mean could we do that’s what could be worth rolling the dice dude yeah I don’t know yeah I could I could argue back in thirty thousand dollars to that I I could argue back and forth in this book and I don’t know I I you hit me one day and I’d go that seems cheap you hit me the next day and I’m like it’s [ __ ] crazy yeah I’m just I’m just saying the difference if the difference in nine six and nine is thirty thousand dollars I’m just saying yeah graded it six times and see what happens [ __ ] it yeah just keep seeing it you’ll hit eventually and then this I don’t know this one just caught my attention I’d never seen this one before kind of a cool I just kind of like the the airbrush vibe yeah me and Carter were talking about this before summer slams here we saw this book I mean I’ve never seen it I’ve never seen it it was dope um yeah I like it too Carter doctors don’t do dinos Dino’s hung out with me enough that he’s he’s getting it he’s there he’s dialed in yep I know yeah this this one just caught my attention because I again I’ve never seen it um and it’s just a it’s a cool vintage style so that’s it uh oh um I guess I’ll promote this [ __ ] I don’t even know what I really did on the channel I really even talked to anybody about this but I just did it so now um if you’re going to my channel yes I’ll stick it out so you can um there’s a little join button now so for a dollar a month you can be a dirty flipper yeah dope I don’t know you get status updates Early Access new videos member shutouts member only live chats which we’ll see how that goes and uh prior to reply to comments so yeah Rebecca figure it out and figure out what happens if it doesn’t doesn’t work out I always can kill it but I thought it was interesting and more of these Badges and all that good stuff so I want my two dollars the hell is that that’s super cool it’s a Pharaoh’s Lounge Sketchbook American Safari Sketchbook I don’t even know about this our buddy uh you know Chris and Comics I think it’s Chris Chris McLean right okay yeah yeah uh yeah yeah good dude run the channel reading on forever he hit this in like a nine eight like cgc and I’m like I really don’t need that but yeah for a good deal he gave me one he’s like how badass [ __ ] Macho Man and Hulk Hogan is Luigi Marley though so that’s kind of cool I’ve never even seen that thing yeah I haven’t either I don’t collect Barrel Lounge I guess whatever you know I don’t even know what to go for but I bought it for I’ll tell her but I bought it for like 80 bucks that’s cool I like it yeah I’m I’m still uh I’m still not buying so oh boy um I got a few things so I won’t go too hardcore into the box of CDC it’s about pulling one or two of those out but the game I’ve been playing as a late um is after coming back from the con I was just like huh there’s a lot of like really dirt cheap one in one hundreds one in 500’s out there and I’m just I set up an alert on eBay just to be like hey just let me know when there’s something out there that’s you know ratio one to 100 200 and so on so forth and so I’ve just been scooping in and grabbing [ __ ] for like Pennies on the dollar when they like in the last minutes I’m ruining people’s [ __ ] nights it’s gonna be in like uh five dollars more than what you said you were paid for it for things that were like like they’re coming down to the wire like four bucks five bucks I think I got this for like 12.
It’s an ultimate Invasion Peach from Mocha one in 100 for like twelve dollars um going back in history and grabbing this like you know justice league dark one in 100 for you know I think I got this for like twelve dollars um and they were they were probably about 100 at release to the ratio yeah they were ratio appearance of 100 bucks or more so or at least Batman in the shadow one in 100 um just because I was like when I got that that book uh that sketched done for you I was like oh finches right here I should’ve just got I should I don’t have anything for him to sign um so hey I’ll hold on this for next San Diego get a signature on it again the book cost me like six bucks or whatever you know you know what the ratio I’ve been looking for I’m gonna ruin it for everybody that Silver Surfer black that you get in the Walmart packs the five the one and five hundred uh I’ve been looking for that just to complete the [ __ ] thing but I don’t want to spend 120 bucks for it 140 bucks oh right there look at that look at our boy drunken chat now holler at me you’re looking for high ratio heaters on the low you could be a low price man no no definitely definitely um grab this um was it uh powers of X the five one in 100 variant got this for like no money at all I think again sub ten dollar buy maybe right around 13 or 14 with shipping gargoyles one in 100.
Hello and then even stuff that just came out so this new that new Avengers one because everybody bought a crap ton of copies of this so one to 100 um and yeah I think this was like 14 for a like 100 ratio that legitimately came out like what the last month or so yeah like and then shout out to Mr Corey cakes for uh you know razzing his bad boy off so I had so many of those at one point dude I can never get a 9am I had like 40 of them the one that pissed everybody off because I not only I won two of these and ratchets nice so yeah so they’ll pick up those guys and then uh shout out to cgc like I mean I’m not necessarily a cgc homer but like they took care of me on getting books back out from San Diego so I mentioned that I submitted like something around almost 100 books 50 of them are legitimately right beside me right now and another like the signature series books are on their way back as we speak they haven’t processed the other the last thing I dropped on the very last day which should be expected but still I mean I’ve got enough to work with now that like I’m not going to be in a scenario where I’m getting books back and there’s no heat on them anymore so I mean I most of this stuff is up with my eBay so if you want it go at it but you know that made it you know it’s already up there now uh let’s see for those guys um yeah she definitely looks pretty alien on that one um I’m not the biggest I mean I was a definite Power Ranger Fanboy when I was a kid but like man this Tau variant covered yeah Sketch is great yes no it was gorgeous um yeah it’s on that one or you’re keeping it I’m selling it because I have two of them so um the Lord said one super super great sketch cover um the freezing um Power Rangers unlimited the coinless one non-foil and then Grim 11 prison non-foil um so are you are you grading on those High ratios then and it’s gonna spend them on eBay what’s your plan you’re holding or what do you what are you doing for the high ratios so doing what I did in San Diego took me back to what I used to do in my early days of playing this game and basically just like no press no clean pre-screen 9.8 on brand new books so I’m gonna start playing that game again because if I can get stuff at like almost cost and if I can make 100 off of a all right so I got 14 in the book uh you know the grading cost so let’s say we’re at like worst case scenario forty dollars if I can get a hundred dollars for a 9.81 and 100 I just made 50 to 60 bucks my shipping costs and yeah that’s worked for me to have done nothing other than buying them and send them down to CTC interesting maybe I started getting on that train too and you’re a very smart man so it’s not like you know yeah because the one that really did the like really like pay dividends for me was shops who went Ham on um was it ASM uh 898 or whatever it was or 798 that uh first um uh red Goblin yep and so a lot of stores like basically bought out the butt to get to the 1 and 100 one in 200 one at 500 and so I remember going into a shop and there was legitimately just diamond boxes full of the regular covers and I was like yo how much you guys selling he’s like yo I’ll do 25 a box I mean there was like legitimately 50 copies of the book in the box so I was at 50 Cent a book and I just basically sent off like all of those to cgc and I had like probably 200 copies of that book and I would just stick the I would stick up um five at a time on eBay make like 60 bucks and I was like cool it works for me because at that time grading costs were what like 18 yeah and I had 50 to a Goddamn book I was just like cool this cost me with shipping costs I’m out twenty dollars so I’ll take 30 I’ll take a 30 winfall on a book that you know he had nothing on yeah I put no effort into it I legitimately just pulled out the box put into a bagging board and wrapped some [ __ ] up and sell them to uh to cgc they got variants in my second air on my um Comic City up the street for me and it’s always like three bucks for these [ __ ] variants and stuff like that but they’re like one to 25s 150 you want to you know just like crazy [ __ ] ratios and I mean somebody will buy them and I mean they’ll pay you more than what they’re worth not so and and honestly like uh you guys know not not everybody does some people hate what not or whatever but um drew a wanted comics with an X like has has been selling online exclusively for over 20 years I think and has more backstock of ratio variance especially the actual rare ratio variants that aren’t just a new store kind of stuff so if you ever guys want to watch uh Jews wanted Comics nobody’s gonna keep throwing up ratios like him and puts him at a dollar so there’s plenty and as is presser dude I want to just buy all those books so yeah right but I don’t it’s like this weird thing can’t they just give you money for these instead yeah well they’re they’re in great condition too it’s not like he just like like they’re wrecked [ __ ] books they’re like really yeah condition books like he’s been he’s been in on the variant game for a very long time longer than anybody and so even if they’re not weren’t bagged and boarded they’re in a um that are in it they’re you know they’re in a box in the dark and then they get pulled out and get bagged and boarded as might as well have been told in the same thing for years you know I just uh I’m not too many of those boxes are beat up not that I’ve seen all those boxes but yeah but when he talks about going into his back stock it’s always amazing it’s ridiculous yeah I don’t think yeah I don’t I don’t I don’t want to know what all is in there but yeah so um just anyway I don’t uh super promote all that stuff but as my as my friend yeah someone I know you can get honest books from and not a bunch of [ __ ] you got anything else that you want to show out there oh here these last two just think about it so I got you um this seems to be on everybody’s Hit List to acquire so the one copy that sounds to be great it came back in 98 and again that’s a shout out to Jason Campbell as you know leg always says like just amazing packaging like you’re pretty much guarantee him and of course Alex Rosser you’re guaranteed pretty much at 9.8 hours wow what is that so that is the tales of the Titans number one Alex Ross uh covered C variant and man this was this and that joker were the hottest goddamn thing out of that Booth like like easy only person I think honestly I can say this he’s the only person that ever draws Starfire and have her not look like a 12 year old girl like this like pseudo throwback to the 70s style of Starfire is like this cover is just gorgeous like seriously right he just did amazing work on this Batman I haven’t bought one in a while but that’s that’s attempting book [ __ ] I mean I’ve got two so if you want the other one by all means hit me up and I’ll let it go at a very reasonable price but yeah the other one’s about eBay nine I said auction so it started tonight so I mean by once it go after that so interesting yeah that’s it for I’m not gonna bother showing up everything in the Box because check out my eBay store like you got anything well you don’t even have to zoom on me oh I got something in the mail because I love this book nice right I found it I got a decent auction and I tell from the picture I haven’t taken out because I just opened it for the show as you guys saw that’s one thing you got a decent price that look I’m not so sure anymore the scans that look like it was maybe nine eight but it’s still half price so whatever yeah if it’s not creatable or I can’t pre-screen it um I still have it and I don’t know if I’m out or not but I do have my uh Darkwing Duck section separating so Darkwing Duck annual one uh Killing Joke homage I think 2011 2011 and cover a it’s actually not a variant so but it’s the annual yeah that’s a fun book that’s it I don’t know yeah I like all that dark queen [ __ ] so uh next next week hopefully uh Chris hit me in the books from sdcc so I can show those off um came out great um this game’s already there but it’s fine um but yeah it’s uh so we’ll have a good story about that um uh catch Flipside Tuesdays um that’s that’s a great uh great show with me and Carter uh Mr long short Ben showed up uh Red Hood shows up anybody else can show up it doesn’t matter
