David Clarke put in Twitter time-out after pretend-kicking CNN’s logo
As Twitchy reported, lefties like film producer Judd Apatow and author Patrick S. Tomlinson reported former sheriff David Clarke, Jr. to Twitter last week for terms of service violations after Clarke posted a photoshopped image of himself kicking CNN’s logo in a wrestling ring.
CNN reports that the now-deleted tweet “featured a graphic of Trump’s face superimposed on that of a wrestler holding another wrestler labeled ‘CNN,’ while Clarke’s face was superimposed on a wrestler who is kicking ‘CNN’ in the face.”
This is horrible. I hope CNN is okay. https://t.co/2d1Nhgl11N pic.twitter.com/ohC0z3lG5l

Tomlinson and Apatow both called the tweet a threat of physical violence against members of the media, and Twitter seems to have agreed, putting Clarke in Twitter time-out until he deleted three tweets found to violate Twitter’s terms of service, which state that users “may not make specific threats of violence or wish for the serious physical harm, death, or disease of an individual or group of people.”
Twitter deemed 3 of Sheriff Clarke's tweets — including his "attack" on CNN — in violation of terms of service, put him in "read-only" mode until he deleted them.https://t.co/jn6Wwp9Lq9
