foreign [Music] guys of CBS eyes Friday um Friday night um Friday night where the [ __ ] am I CBS eyes Friday if we’ll see what this piece was I’m your guy Joker and I am here with Josh what’s up Josh yeah what’s up I was just thinking about like I wonder what if what would happen if we ever just did a show where we just like ran through all the slides in about two minutes you know what I mean like April Fools and without saying anything just oh yeah end wow that that’ll be quick that’ll be that’d be I mean I don’t know do people who like that I don’t know I don’t know um I didn’t read anything this week I did there wasn’t much though I think it was like one book I was interested in that whatever was out that was gonna read this he was gonna read this week and I was like blade blade that’s about it yeah and besides that I was like I’m not feeling it but uh all like all the books too that came out this week none of them are like really on the FOC blade was good though I really liked it okay yeah I did I mean it’s not gonna be up on the list right nope all right so tell me about it what’s up um he hang on what this is the one that they had the incentive right was it a 150 125.
I forget if there’s a 150 there is a one in 25 I have it okay um he it goes kind of quick where he goes to like the head of the werewolves and they’re like something’s happening like there’s like an unbalance in the force or whatever and they can feel it and if he was a real vampire he could feel it and uh it’s to go protect this girl whose boyfriends got killed because supposedly she holds some sort of power and she doesn’t know it and blade gets to her and uh there’s this like guy after her that looks like he’s in like a Japanese like a samurai kind of mask yeah um and blade kills him and then the girl that he’s protecting kind of is like thank you for killing the person that was after me and like the girl is really like this like bad entity and it like and uh so she like um it’s actually a he I think but like she does something to Blade and and he gets captured by the guy that was chasing hers like tribe or whatever and and uh so it’s actually kind of like uh uh what do they call it a double turn um and uh it’s cool how the thing reveals himself or her whatever it is after he like leaves blade he like Cuts himself and then like rips her face off like like you know off himself yeah and it’s just like this like old entity and then um where he’s brought to that Village of um you know where that guy came from because that I guess that sword the sword that he tried to kill that thing with is like some like powerful sword or something like that yeah and so she the girl um at this Village is like I need your help and uh that’s where it kind of leads off it was good it was it was really I liked it sound like it was jam-packed with action yeah pretty good awesome good reason yeah who’s writing that again I forgot who’s right in there man no Brian Hill Brian Hill give props to Brown um how’s the interview Art Is it okay it’s actually not bad yeah is it any bad um here let me show you some of the interior artwork I mean it that’s that’s the that’s the entity whatever the thing is that’s dumb dumb them yeah that’s the thing that was that’s the person that was trying to kill it so you originally think that this is the bad guy but it’s not okay yeah yeah I liked it I liked it so far um you got the one in 25 near you or no right do I have it here yeah and I’m gonna see it because I forgot how it looked I think we talked about it enough we’ll see oh that’s badass that’s dope nice yeah there you go guys all right I forgot did you watch were you watching Mayans series finale this morning yeah so did I I don’t do I don’t know why there’s something about Wednesdays when mines is on I would always fall asleep like really early I think it was just because it’s like I have to watch this [ __ ] show you know wait till 10 o’clock the show got so bad I I listen believe it or not it was good in the beginning but I still enjoyed towards the end it wasn’t me it was good it was okay in the beginning it just once once uh Kurt Sutter you know once they kicked him off and Elgin James was in charge it just there’s so many plot holes and like while like cool things happen in the end there’s so many like wait a minute but what about this you know like I mean like like what do you mean what about what okay like for instance spoilers for anyone watching the Mayans 10 seconds that’s fine okay how about when I forget his name the sons guy comes in the one that’s dating the girl or the sister of that girl Jess and he’s like tell me what happened to Jess and I’ll tell you what happened to your father oh they killed that kid they killed that guy you don’t know that I mean you assume it I almost I would assume yeah because you know how about how about like the big we need to go to war and so apparently going to war is just kicking in the CL in in like wherever at this concert and killing a few sons and and and that’s the ending for Isaac like he’s like the big bad of the whole series and he just it it’s so right you could tell that like they were just like enough is enough this is the last season you better figure out how you’re gonna get this all done now the whole thing at the end even though you should have seen it coming was kind of cool and and for a minute like I I honestly forgot you know like when they were at the table and they were going around like it totally like slipped my mind I’m like oh oh yeah that’s right I forgot like what the whole thing with yeah I I I I didn’t think I didn’t forget I knew it was coming I just didn’t know when and who knew I didn’t know if Bishop told you know everybody or Bishop just you know was gonna keep it to himself or whatever um but yeah that way that [ __ ] turned out it was crazy man you know how his brother had to just stab him and it was just I would say that I I did like how Angel survived the whole show yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah if it was it was him because you know you know he was the one that like he went through a lot you know a lot you know and for him to lose his big moms his father right and then his his brother at the end now is like he’s the only one standing his other girl who didn’t die his other baby that did die yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so you know like like them killing uh happy you know who’s like the sergeant-at-arms for Sam Crow you know like no repercussions for that you know it just you know yeah yeah no you don’t you know what you’re right about that because it’s like when you did see uh Sons of Anarchy like you know you see how deep and you know how these these guys are you know like like sergeants and [ __ ] like that ranks [ __ ] you know and and for for them to kill them off and then it was kind of like nothing basically you know what I mean right it’s like okay you didn’t take this guy kind of like I don’t know it was written more towards like okay we’re focused more on the Mind rightly do because it’s called the Mayans right you know um what do you think about your boy padrino padrino just yeah like I didn’t understand I thought he would have a much bigger role from the beginning you know anyway the other thing is too is like what happened with the whole um I forget the the whole like Mexican Mafia how they’re after that just like went away like the the [ __ ] lady yeah like we need like everyone needs to kill easy Reyes for some unknown reason yeah I I don’t know what happened there and then shorty with the with killing her uh uh uh um yeah rushed and it’s like okay like what’s her what’s her end game it was dope how she set that up though yeah I didn’t expect that I didn’t expect that you know and then once I saw that she she told me to go back to the car I was like something’s gonna happen I thought she was gonna kill the Hitman only but yeah no I didn’t think she was gonna I didn’t see the Hitman coming at all I really didn’t no because they were so kind of Well appear apparently close not like he was the one who killed the sister yeah but I totally forgot about that see like the Mayan show did not do a very good job of making me care to remember things like and that’s unusual for a show that I’ll watch all the way through I can always usually remember things I totally forgot about that um the show was interesting it could it could have been uh I feel like like you said it was a little bit rushed but the way they went out the way easy went out the way uh it turned out he damn damn shame with his with his girl with the dog and then she just found out she was pregnant and she didn’t even get a chance to tell him that she did she was pregnant I knew that was gonna happen I didn’t think she would get killed but I knew I had a feeling that see at the at the beginning of the episode I’m like well Avi I mean you know this probably for a while but like something’s gonna happen easy and I figured you would probably die but I’m not even kidding you like once that whole talk happened at the bridge with Angel and once they’re in the clubhouse and and they patch in uh Nestor I complete like completely forgot about you know that possibly happening and like when when they wrapped him up I’m like oh [ __ ] like I totally forgot about this and oh you know what was dude you know what was honestly probably the saddest part of the whole thing other than Angel having to stab him is the whole thing with that chick and I forget what his name was where they sent him to go kill her the dude and he didn’t oh yeah yeah yeah and she thought she was gonna get killed and she stabbed him and he and and he was basically pay her off to go out of town and [ __ ] yeah right yeah yeah yeah damn damn shame man yeah that was crazy too like the whole thing is like it was it could have been a good series great series if like you said certain plot holes were filled you know what I mean but the problem is is Kurt Sutter was not involved in this except on like the first season I think or the first two I’m sorry like whatever I still don’t remember what the reasons were they kicked him off like I guess he was like people or something whatever but like dude he is the Mind behind that that Universe yeah that right like I’m sorry you can’t get rid of them you just can’t do it and I don’t understand how they have not made a show on the original nine from Sam Crow like they were supposed to like that show would have done better than the Mayans it would have and here’s the other thing that I cannot [ __ ] stand about the Mayans they had a dope theme song and the first two seasons and then they changed honestly I forgot it oh it was so good and it made for like so much like kind of sense like to the to the culture and then they changed it completely with that slow being sauna dude well no no no they changed it twice they changed it to somebody else like a chick I think singing the song which was bad and then they changed it to whatever that was yeah like I just I never felt like it had a real identity that show you know like I said it was good enough to keep me watching you know it was it was that good enough to just keep me watching I wanted to watch it at the end um and you know it was a good ending it was a it was a good ending for being what it is for the show it was a good ending the way things went out uh went down I was satisfied with the show and we don’t know who dies and here’s okay here’s the last thing I’ll say about this yeah what you mean YouTube at the end with the ATF right in there yeah yeah yeah I think all the [ __ ] I mean probably all of them but you never know here’s the freaking thing that I do not understand why in the [ __ ] creeper knowing that if easy has connections to inside the prison in a bunch of different ways and he’s already been he’s already been stabbed up once and freaking survived it in there why would he do it again try to do it again I don’t know I don’t know hey yo my whole thing the only thing and I can’t stand it and I hated it from Sons and Anarchy this is the last thing I’m gonna say because we’re talking so much about it um meaning why would he try to get word like if I’m in jail and I found out something about something I understand that I can’t get out of really this area and this is a dangerous area so my mouth I mean I think I forget if he was in there for murder or whatever but like whatever like sorry guys I love you guys out there but you’re gonna have to fend for yourself because I have to fend for myself in here and I am more of a Target in here than you are out there well you know what I mean like I’m just not whatever anyway go ahead yo the the one character that I cannot stand man and you know and I’m like yo this [ __ ] is walking away again yeah yeah yeah I love him though I hate that [ __ ] dude hate him but that wasn’t sure he’s doing it he’s these actor you know that’s what I mean like he does he’s such a and he’s so weird yeah you know but I love that guy who plays him he was really good in Deadwood and um Apollo 13 huh so what tell my shows you know you know how they revamped bill they came out with new episodes of [ __ ] Justified yes yeah I saw the first episode that was pretty cool to watch it yeah I fell asleep to it now believe it or not I’ve never watched like a full episode of Justified at all really really and I and I probably should have because I like uh who writes that that’s uh is it Elmore Leonard it’s the one who did he’s the Jackie Brown guy he he’s got like a fascination with with U.S Marshals okay uh what what’s what’s the other one uh Karen um um it was the Jennifer Lopez George Clooney movie and then Gina um I know you told me I forgot what it’s called out of sight there you go yeah what’s the name what’s the what’s the girl’s name though that it’s base it that the books it and then um they did they did like two or three one to three seasons on a e um I like his work but anyway all right so what was what’s the week and what what day is the 23rd yep uh Sunday the 23rd of July uh for uh DC’s and just seen the blade one but you could order that through Diamond I seen the Transformer one uh that one I think it’s going like 60 or something like that now like the actual Transformer a Transformers book it’s a Transformers book yeah the I think the image now right oh so it’s the new one so it’s not even out yet yeah well that’s might be one to get because it’s that’s kind of cool because it’s not even out yet and it’s a cool cover when I get a chance just stick it with it uh it’s just Optimus on the cover yeah who drew it do you know I have no idea I want to see it right now you pull it up while I talk about this all right man uh let’s see okay so something is killing the children number 32.
Uh this may be the last time you see something’s killing children on this list barring some sort of like Milestone issue or the end of the series or something big happening because I just don’t think anybody’s reading it some cool covers you know I really like this oh this isn’t a cover seat this is an FOC reveal uh mistake number one right off the rip and I like this Dan Moore cover and uh the Charlie Adler cover pretty cool yeah what’s the ash can oh it’s an ash can interesting really I mean from what I from reading what they put down that would make sense because there’s no way they’re gonna release the number one the full number one out there before the number one is actually out there you know all right let me let me post it up real quick I’m gonna show you through my phone guys real quick all right we’re gonna put this in all and we don’t know who drew that I don’t know because I don’t know the style of this cover you know it’s pretty cool I don’t know if you could see it yeah yeah it’s pretty cool I like it um is it a foil or anything no it doesn’t say no foil no nothing no okay it just says Ash cancel there you go well ASM uh 32 32s in a row um Patrick Gleason is the artist on here it says uh he rejoins ASM now I don’t know if that means just for this issue or going forward or what but I like uh I love Patrick Gleason’s art and uh you’re gonna start seeing John romita obviously um uh recognition on all the uh all the books you’ll probably see a bunch of covers as a matter of fact you will see some covers actually in here that uh he’s done and uh I was about to say is there’s a reason why I just spider-verse cover was just because it’s a Majin or whatever but yeah it’s the Disney 100 [ __ ] okay so but it is as someone book yeah it is they’re all all the Disney 100s are all on ASM okay um I mean I like the the the tribute to I feel like they should never get rid of the corner box um ever thing on the you know on books um these are just pretty cool man um so Patrick Gleason back on Interiors at least for this one I haven’t I haven’t looked ahead to see if he’s on um yeah nice yeah I like the cartoony style that’s pretty cool and then imagine um what is it Mike zech yeah there you go all right black panther number three um you know I don’t I don’t I kind of like this book I told you guys last time this is very batman-esque like it really is like he’s more detective mode than anything yeah and he’s you know he’s by himself people don’t believe that he that it’s really t’challa that it’s just someone disguised in a bad black panther costume he’s not in like what like wakanda proper the city he’s in one of like the outskirt cities um I’m not digging the art at all and I just I don’t know maybe it’s just not coming together yet it’s it’s just not grabbing me it it isn’t yeah a couple wives though I’m I’m not mad at these covers but at the same time they’re not ain’t great either they ain’t great either yeah Captain America finale number one so you’re getting the end of the uh uh Colin Kelly and Jackson Lansing booked the symbol of Truth um so this is Cap’s Final Stand Captain America takes his final stand against the Outer I read last week or whatever so it’s good to see that these old uh legendary writers and artists coming back and you know given there you know a little flavor here and there you know I mean for for this generation um could teach them a lot of things you know uh these covers pretty cool or just the eight cover not really feeling that cover um no I’m not really feeling any of them like the Derek true one looks good but she’s just way too young she looks like she’s like 14 or something you know yeah for me the one I will get is the Perez just because it’s Perez and you know it’s just a simple cover um I I like the font though for some reason I don’t know what it is it’s just something about the Jean Gray I like it uh it’s pretty cool so there you go take it for what it is oh J Michael strasinski that’s who’s writing uh Captain America okay and oh there’s a Frank Miller cover on the number one it’s and it is terrible terrible really yo terrible okay uh Moon Knight City of the Dead number two I was gonna read this this week and I just couldn’t get around to it um I mean the reason this is up here though too I mean I don’t know how good of a read it is but who do you think is on the one in 25.
I mean it should be my uh Moonlight no no I understand the character who do you think drew it I mean oh you think drew it yeah come on this I can’t even believe it who sankovic yeah okay all right yeah that is a dope ass cover yeah all right there you go I’ll tell you one thing right now that 125 is way better than one 100 well yeah it is I’ll tell you the B cover is better than the one in 100 yeah um but yeah that that the singular [ __ ] it’s pretty [ __ ] badass man yeah pretty dope that’s the cover for me for that book yep yeah even though if that book doesn’t do [ __ ] that covers though right Spider-Man number 10 second print I just keep picking these up any of the second prints with spider boy it’s so early on you just never know you know if you go through history all miles a bunch of his second print stuff you know something and I I like a lot of these covers I think bagley’s killing it I really do I mean listen if you’re into the Spider-Man character I mean spider you know Spider-Man and Spider-Man characters here and there if you picked up a couple price shouldn’t be uh just pick up a cover you know it ain’t that bad you know I I feel like the especially this character I don’t think it’s gonna be doing crazy like like miles I’m you never know who knows right but if you’re picking this book up for cover price then it ain’t bad you know I mean you’re not investing [ __ ] 15 you know it’s only three hours four dollars okay so you got Venom 24 and 25 on the list this week okay usually when they do that it usually means something usually not always but usually um they don’t want something to get spoiled or I I know 25 is an oversized issue 25 is like an eight dollar book um but you have Doom coming into the story of the Venom now pretty cool Brian hitch cover since you know he decided to not do uh Bedlam on the cover for the 18th straight book in a row so congratulations to you for doing something different Brian um this story I just this such a bad Venom story there was one book not too long ago that Al Ewing did where it was a kind of a crossover with um red Goblin where uh were Normie and um uh Dylan we’re fighting Bedlam and oh were they fighting Bedlam who is Eddie um and it broke flexo’s like containment chamber and that was a pretty good read and then it went right back to being stupid again um so I just don’t I you know it’s like like I’m already I already watched Doom come at the end at the end of Thor for no freaking reason and you know just be the cap to a very bad series and I’m kind of thinking the same thing here I just don’t think Doom is ever used in a proper way I don’t yeah I mean like a I’m not reading Venom and I’m not have no interest in Reading because in the beginning you know I thought the idea of Dylan Brock taking over the Venom character and all this I thought it was pretty cool I thought like I I’m down for this you know hell yeah you know but they just didn’t they didn’t do it they didn’t do it for me there was a time for for but I’ll tell you one thing though uh for Venom being down like and see Carnage do so well not not do so well but I mean do so well for itself now because I know the food is it Carnage Carnage been around for like almost 30 years right 30 some 30 years you could say right yeah this is the first time I’ve seen a besides back some Carnage but even then now the storyline now I feel like it’s it’s really good it’s really good for that character you know so uh good to see you know some of these Spider-Man I guess that’s why my characters going you know getting some love uh even though Venom was doing holding the crown for a while recently you know with Donnie Cates you know doing it and uh with the character Dylan Brock I think doing you know was in another dope character uh such as like spider boy I think Dylan Brock you know was was gonna he can still be a good character later on um but yeah just unfortunate that Venom sucks I mean they took Dylan who was such a powerful character by the end of Kate’s run and now he’s just like a nothing literally he’s like a nothing and Eddie is just so like lost I mean like Ram V I don’t know if it was Ram V or alien or the both of them just completely just shat all over the Goodwill from for so long like this Bedlam character is just so stupid and I’m just tired of seeing them completely tired and this 1 in 25 is not good and you know I know those um Ryan stegmans covers that he’s been doing is getting repetitive or whatever I can’t even remember now it’s like no this is different because this is actually Dylan because of it you know he’s got the chains yeah but there’s still nonetheless [ __ ] yeah it’s kind of like watching those Greg land um covers doing the 125 yeah you don’t say it’s like that but yeah you can get meta right surviving segment is [ __ ] so dope and then here’s 25 and we’re right back to him doing a Bedlam cover okay I mean there’s some a little bit of okay retribution or not retribution Redemption because of Doom being on it um you got a general meet a senior cover um and I think also Juniors on this probably the Venom part cover price at that no well yeah eight dollars well I mean it’s a couple yeah cover prizes yeah it’s not a ratio so oh but is it oh [ __ ] okay I spoke too soon never mind 150 or 100.
Yeah explicit as a 150 in some places and a one in one hundred in another my bad guys yeah yeah okay all right not too bad if these covers man uh 125 is pretty cool that’s got the youngest kind of like yeah it’s cartoony for me is Scotty Young’s Venom covers usually sell the best like they did another one on an issue I think 18 or something and that was pretty good this character is so dumb it’s so dumb and that’s it yeah that’s it no DC well there is DC this week um just the night terrors right yeah nothing that I’m gonna put in world’s finest I mean I understand a lot of people like world’s finest I get it I’ll probably pick up the trade when that comes out um just because everyone claims it’s so good uh you got Brave in the Bold uh that Harley black white and redder came out this week that’s soza Mica 1 and 25.
