Half-Life 2 Highway 17 Speedrun Explanation
before you watch this video I strongly recommend watching my other video where I explain all ways that you can go fast in half-life 2 in order to understand this video properly click on the link in the top right corner to go to the video I started off with a circlestrafe turning into backwards walk accelerated backhopping then my speed that I build up to slide a surfable surfaces then I continued with backhopping into the tunnel did a standing forward accelerated hop to get more speed and then hold space too shark on the top of the ocean without losing much speed then a few side hops with the help of the rock’s tip I got enough height and speed to fly above the road now all my speed died so I had to rebuild my speed by doing a circlestrafe that turned into crouched sideways hops then one forward hop to get more speed and a launch with a standing sideways hop a big strafe around the map and surfed up the road into the tunnel then turned around to do more backhops to maintain my speed now a backhop into a cliff that launched me into the air all over the map landing on a road that I surfed up then some standing sideways hops to get into the tunnel then turn them into crouched sideways hops cuz thats more comfortable here which I later turned into standing sideways hop and landed on the surface where I was able to do multiple hops as I travelled up then I flew above the map surfed up the road into the tunnel and sideways hopped into the next map and this was the gameplay of the highway chapter in half-life 2 if you didn’t understand what I was saying you can check my other video where I explain the movement techniques they are not that hard you can try them yourself too thanks for watching if you liked the video you can leave a like or comment if you wanna see more fun videos like this in half-life 2 or portal where I play with the game’s engine you can check my source engine playlist subscribe for more videos like this
