Actress Kristen Johnston has been very open about her struggles with substance abuse. So when she learned about this tweet from gossip rag RadarOnline:

We’re used to being the butt of your jokes. We’re used to the media breathlessly using our addictions to make money.
However, when outlets like @Radar_Online, print photos of a celebrity ( and others) at an AA meeting trying to get well, they have crossed the line and have blood on their hands.
…
Addicts are NOT amusing. Addicts are NOT salacious. Addicts are NOT your entertainment.
Be sure to read the whole thing. Johnston’s moral outrage is well-founded. And she is most definitely not alone in being thoroughly repulsed:
