Long, long before Eminem tried to help jump-start Chrysler by shooting that 2011 Super Bowl ad, actor Bruce Campbell did his part to revive the Motor City. That campaign, “Together We Can,” was one of many attempts to get Detroit back on track, but as Campbell observed earlier this week following news of the city’s bankruptcy, Detroit’s problems are long-term.

Unless Google Translate is lying to us, Campbell believes “there’s more to it than that, my friend.” Never mind that, though; Would Campbell consider getting in on the “Pure Michigan” campaign? Or maybe “Detroit: America’s Great Comeback City“?
