Yes, that happened.
As Twitchy reported, the Greatest Orator Evah uttered an awkward absurdity during his presser today. Calling Jason Collins when he came out yesterday wasn’t enough. The President had to remark further, and said that Jason Collins can say, “This is who I am. I’m proud of it. I’m still a great competitor. I’m still 7 foot tall and can bang with Shaq and, you know, deliver a hard foul.”
Fox News’ Leventhal couldn’t resist tweeting that zinger. Forward! To tolerance. Or, you know, really awkward moments that make the populace cover their ears, rock back and forth and mutter, “Oh, no. Please, no.”
