Hillary finds another young plant to pick at town hall meeting
The scent of chlorophyl was strong as a young boy approached Hillary Clinton at a town hall in New Hampshire holding a note card. Clinton put her arm around the boy’s shoulder as he read aloud from the card: “When you become president, what is your plan to connect mental health problems and guns to make sure that me, my brothers, and my friends are safe from violence at school?”
The Clinton campaign posted video of the encounter to Facebook, alongside questions from other children who appear to have been picked straight from the White House garden.
From the sounds of things, America’s problems with gun violence will be solved well before the next election as President Obama prepares to sign any number of executive actions to end gun violence. Clinton, though, stuck with the tried-and-not-true promise to close the “gun show loophole,” and she alsoproposed creating a new gun rights group to rival the National Rifle Association. What that means we can’t say. Is it a pro-Second Amendment group that encourages members to give up their guns?
What we want to know, though, is what will presidential candidate Clinton do about this obvious overgrowth of young plants at her campaign stops?
