Earlier today, police managed to raze the tent city protesters had erected outside of the Fourth PrecinctPolice Department and set up barriers around the building in anticipation of more #Justice4Jamar protests tonight. Police had to wrestle the barriers from demonstrators who tried to make off with them. Shaun King ‘floored at the astounding ignorance’ of LeBron James

Activists have called on NBA superstar LeBron James to lead a “collective sit-out” until the U.S. Department of Justice intervenes and “imprisons the murderers of Tamir Rice. James told the media he didn’t “have enough knowledge about” the situation to feel comfortable commenting about it. #BlackLivesMatter activist and New York Daily News columnist Shaun King was aghast: James won’t speak out about an issue he doesn’t feel he knows enough about and that’s “ignorant”?
